Where beasts beyond imagination lurk behind the fear of mortals.

DEMON CAPITAL OF ELDENBAUM

ㅤㅤA city that was once the very heart of the land of Zerynthia. It was also the center of the land's government, whilst the nation of Ein itself was led by the two Chief Gods themselves from their high palace. Social statuses were not looked upon in this city ― everyone has the same rights, be it a highborn or a lowborn. The nobles and peasants coexist merrily, helping each other.ㅤㅤAfter the very first war broke, Eldenbaum was sealed in the aftermath of the war. The miasma from the Hex overloading corrupted the city, draining the lives of every creature touched by it. Only undead spirits and monsters inhabit the deserted city ― until the ninth emperor of Alovetta summoned demons into the realm of mortals. The Demon King began to rebuild the palace and most of its architecture with his demonic might, creating many buildings beneficial for his objective to conquer the mortals.ㅤㅤFrom that day on, the Capital City of Eldenbaum was also known as the Demon Capital of Eldenbaum.

ÁSPROS MOUNTAIN

ㅤㅤA mountain that borders the southern part of the Dark Domain of Ein from the ocean. Ray of sunshine once illuminated this mountain, yet now it didn't dare to shine anymore.

FOREST OF SKOTEINÓS

ㅤㅤA forest that surrounds the Dark Domain of Ein's territory. Sunlight was blocked by its dense foliage, the remnants of the miasma from the Carronoah explosion once killed the living things inhabiting the forest ― but also mutated some of them, transforming them into various beasts.

SANGUINEM PIT

ㅤㅤThe Sanguinem Pit is a huge colosseum built by the Demon King from the ruins of the old buildings inside the Dark Domain of Ein. This colosseum is used to hold many fights and battles for the demons' entertainment. When a demon came out as a winner of the battle in Sanguinem Pit, they have a chance to get promoted to be an upper-level demon and one of the war commanders ― the Apollyon ― if the Demon King deemed them worthy.

CINIS FORGERY

ㅤㅤA forgery powered by the flame for the underworld to process the iron ores and forge demons' weapons and armory. Middle-level demons smith the weapon and armory, with lower-level demons and undead spirits doing the heavy labor.

DIÁSELLON MINE

ㅤㅤAn underground mine inside the Dark Domain of Ein's territory with countless metal ores. It was once one of the citizens of Ein's source of resources, the demons now used this mine to take ores used as materials in smithing.

CRATER OF MALITIAE

ㅤㅤA massive crater located on the outskirts of the Dark Domain of Ein, formed from the explosion from the Carronoah. Black mist surrounded this crater, bearing great curses and corruption to whoever comes near.

O demons from the Underworld, kneel ere thy King.

DEMONIC HIERARCHY

ㅤㅤThe Dark Domain of Ein has a rather simple hierarchy. Demons don’t have a complicated ruling system ― the Demon King is the one who sits on the top of government, solely ruling over his kind. Under the Demon King’s order are the war commanders led by one Lord Commander, consisting of the strongest and most loyal upper-ranking demons who served the Demon King. Each of these war commanders is considered a ‘special’ demon ― they were bestowed a demon mark carved by the Demon King himself on their body part when they are deemed ‘worthy.'ㅤㅤBack then, the Republic of Ein was led directly by the Chief Gods ― the God of War and the Goddess of Species. The two of them handled all of the governmental activities in the Capital City of Eldenbaum. They also divided the Republic of Ein's territory into five regions, which were led by the 5 great noble houses of Ein.

ㅤㅤThere were 5 great noble houses that once inhabited Ein. Under these 5 great houses, one or more vassal noble houses swear fealty to serve them.
- House Asmodai
ㅤ ㅤVassal: House Dantalion, (unknown.)
- House Ba'el
ㅤ ㅤVassal: (unknown.)
- House Azazel
ㅤ ㅤVassal: (unknown.)
- House Mammon
ㅤ ㅤVassal: (unknown.)
- House Belphegor
ㅤ ㅤVassal: (unknown.)
ㅤㅤThese noble houses are currently extinct as the result of Eldenbaum's destruction and the Republic of Ein’s fall, with the exception is House Dantalion which has a lone 'survivor', Astaroth Dantalion.ㅤㅤThe noble houses did not take part in Ein’s government, as they only governed over the autonomous regions given to them in Ein’s territory.

Runneth, little mortals, ere we feast on thy fear.

ㅤㅤThe Dark Domain of Ein’s army legion consists of various demon warriors and undead spirits, with a legion comprising approximately 3000 - 6000 soldiers of middle-level demons and undead spirits. Each legion has its military base, waiting to be dispatched by the Demon King to wreak havoc in the mortal world. The legion also uses lower-level demons and monsters as their war tool, for example, to bring supplies or as their ride. The demon legions are led by six war commanders called the Apollyon.ㅤㅤThe demons, undead spirits, and monsters in the legion were armored by various weapons made by the blacksmith demons.

APOLLYON

ㅤㅤThe Apollyon is a group of six upper-ranking demons, the strongest of all demons under the Demon King’s reign who act as war commanders for the Ein’s demon legion. The Apollyon also has ranks, with the first ranked holding the title Lord Commander, and is the most powerful demon after the King. The six Apollyons are:- Astaroth Dantalion, Lord Commander of the Apollyon, the first and strongest. He leads 40 legions.
- Allocer, the second Apollyon. He leads 36 legions.
- Focalor, the third Apollyon. He leads 33 legions.
- Marchosias, the fourth Apollyon. He leads 30 legions.
- Berith, the fifth Apollyon. He leads 26 legions.
- Zepar, the sixth Apollyon. He leads 26 legions.

ㅤㅤEach Apollyon's position is determined by its strength. To achieve the chance to be an Apollyon, a demon must be a victor in the tournament held by the Demon King in the Sanguinem Pit, although not all the victors of the tournament would be blessed by the Demon King to be one. Once they were chosen as an Apollyon, they have to fight the other Apollyon to determine their rank. For example ― the new Apollyon has to fight the latest-ranked (i.e. first, second, third, etc.) Apollyon. If the new Apollyon won, they would proceed to battle the next Apollyon while the former latest Apollyon would be in one rank under them. If they lose, the new Apollyon would be one rank below the latest-ranked Apollyon.ㅤㅤTo this day, the only changes in the ranking throughout the years only occurred to the third until the sixth Apollyon, as there wasn't anyone yet to defeat the first and the second.

GATE OF QLIPHOTH

ㅤㅤThe Gate of Qliphoth is an adult human-sized stone tablet with various runes and symbols carved into the surface. Its function is to open the bridge which connects the mortal realm and the Underworld, acting as a link between both worlds. This relic can be summoned by drawing a demonic sigil on whatever surface and offering one's blood to the sigil. Once the Gate of Qliphoth was successfully summoned, to open the gate, the summoner must once again offer their blood by smearing it into the runes on the Gate of Qliphoth's surface and recites an incantation."Sanguine, corpus et mea. O magni Domini abyssi, et ego aperiam vobis huius portae traicere. Accipere munus et vocationem ore exíbit gládius acútus."

CARRONOAH

ㅤㅤA weapon of mass destruction that once decimated the Republic of Ein, made by their own God of War and Goddess of Species. It was powered by the Hex ― a form of energy manifested from the negative emotions of a human sacrifice, which then became a powerful blast with massive destructive power. It can be shot from a great distance with absolute accuracy. When a person was hit by the Hex of their relative, the effect of the blast would greatly wound the person, even killing them in one hit.
